Climate Change - The Atmosphere and the Greenhouse Effect

Two most important actors in determining climate change are the atmosphere and the oceans. The atmosphere and the seas interact to determine the circulation patterns which are responsible for spreading the energy from the Sun, mainly received in the equatorial regions, throughout the earth's surface.
In this talk, I shall look at the constitution of the atmosphere with some introductory slides to explain general properties of atmospheric gases and particulates.
